- חָצִיף, חֲצִיפָאm. (חֲצַף, sub. אַפִּין) 1) bare-faced, impudent, impertinent. Targ. Ps. 17:4. Targ. Koh. 8:1 חֲצִיף אפין (constr.); a. e.Ber.34b; Sot.7b ח׳ עלי מאןוכ׳ I consider him impertinent who Kidd.33a כמה ח׳ האי גברא how irreverently behaves this man; a. e.Fem. חֲצִיפָא, חֲצִיפְתָּא. M.
